I decided to create this blog to document and share my experiences with the paranormal and the supernatural. I have been able to sense and see things that others couldn't ever since I was a little child, and though most of my friends and family members know this about me and accept it, there are always skeptics. It's understandable. If you have not experienced these types of things, it sounds like absolute science fiction.
The first thing I ever remember experiencing was in a large craftsman style house that my grandparents lived in. When I was around three years old, my mother was carrying me on her hip through the dining room of the house, when suddenly the only window in the room raised itself up to the "open" position, then, just as suddenly, slammed itself back down with a loud bang!
My mother gasped, then, remembering that I was there and observing her reaction, she chuckled and whispered "Poltergeist." and continued through the house as before.
She never said another word about that event, but I never forgot it, and later, I would hear countless stories of strange things like that going on in that very house while my family lived there. I initially believed it was the house. But over the years, after going over and over the paranormal happenings in my family, I now believe that it was not the house, but that it was actually my family that was essentially haunted.
This is the kind of thing I will talk about in this blog. I am a Christian and my blog posts will often contain elements of my beliefs. Comments are welcome, but if they are inappropriate or rude, they will be deleted.
